Margaritaville Cape Cod!

Parent to Parent Travel Review

Are you looking for a new travel destination for your family, but prefer to drive vs. fly? Never visited a Margaritaville resort location? You are in luck!

Margaritaville Cape Cod is practically brand new, as they are open just over 1 year. They have all the special features you would expect from a Margaritaville location!

Beautifully appointed guest rooms, many with balconies. You can sit by the fire pit or just view it from your balcony!

The Landshark Bar and Grill is a staple at Margaritaville locations nationwide. They have delicious, generously portioned burgers and amazing salmon and fish dishes. The kids' meals portions are equally generous, and you can order from the room service menu for even better prices! Just make sure to scan the QR Code from the form in your room.

In terms of the Margaritaville Cape Cod waterpark, it is on the smaller side with only a handful of slides. They do have a fairly large wave pool, a hot tub AND an outdoor pool! Therefore, you always have options AND the outdoor pool is open year-round, weather permitting and as long as there is a lifeguard available. Everything is very clean and that is super important!

The gift shop is chock full of traditional Margaritaville souvenir items. Mini flip flop key chains, bucket hats and much more! Remember to check out the back of the store for great sales and clearance clothing items!

St. Somewhere Spa

All I can say is wowwwww!  I would visit the resort just for the spa! To be able to travel with your children but also find time for yourself is precious and not always easy to do.

At the Margaritaville resort, the St. Somewhere Spa offers everything from full body massages to facials and mani pedi parties! These parties are great for ladies’ night and children’s parties alike! They have theme weeks and fun, affordable specials which change by the month.

Make sure you ask for the spa manager, she is amazing and goes over and above to help you “shell”ebrate!

Margaritaville Cape Cod is open year-round and during the Fall and Spring season you will likely find lower rates and specials. MCC is close to 4 ½ hours from much of NW Bergen County. Definitely driveable and there are so many nature and history stops along the way as well as on the Cape! It is a full road trip. You can go North to Boston and catch a Red Sox game (okay I know it is a rival team to the NY/NJ area, but so much fun!) You can head to Plymouth for amazing history or visit the local and famous Cape Cod Maritime Museum!

Cape Cod Maritime Museum

If you are sailing enthusiasts like we are, you will love the museum. Make sure you take the tour. The staff are extremely friendly and well educated. Many are retired engineers and many have sailed the oceans and seas of which they discuss!

You can drive another hour to the tip of the cape and explore the unique art installations in famous Provincetown! Great people watching and unique restaurants. It is extremely busy during the popular summer months. However, many locations in “Ptown” are also open year-round.

Margaritaville Cape Cod is a boutique version of some of the larger Margaritaville resort locations in Florida and Texas. It is equally quaint and fun and makes a perfect couples or family getaway!

After all, it's always “5 o’clock somewhere!!”

Enjoy!!
